We are a fast-growing energy consulting and compliance firm, helping commercial and multifamily buildings in New York City meet the stringent requirements of Local Laws 84, 87, 88, and 97. Our software platform automates sub-metering data collection, compliance tracking, and report generation. We are expanding our digital product team and seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to help bring our energy tools to life.
Collaborate with our back-end engineers and energy analysts to design intuitive user interfaces
Build and maintain modern, responsive dashboards for sub-metering data visualization, compliance status, and report generation
Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code using modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
Integrate with APIs and display energy performance and compliance analytics in real-time
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security on desktop and mobile platforms
Participate in sprint planning and work in a fast-paced, agile environment
Preferred Tech Stack:
Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
Frameworks: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS (preferred) or Vue.js
Tools: Git, Figma, REST APIs, Chart.js or D3.js for data visualization
Bonus: Experience with Firebase, Node.js, or Python-based APIs
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in front-end development
Strong portfolio of dashboard or data-centric UI/UX projects
Fluent in English and comfortable communicating with U.S.-based teams
Self-starter who can work independently and problem-solve
Experience working with utility or energy-related applications is a plus
