GreenConnect™ Secures Major Con Edison RTEM Contract to Deploy AI-Driven Energy Optimization Platform

New York, NY — November 15, 2025 — GreenConnect™, a rapidly emerging leader in AI-enabled building automation and energy optimization, announced today that it has secured a major contract under Con Edison’s Real-Time Energy Management (RTEM) program to deploy a next-generation cloud-based optimization platform across a large commercial facility in New York City.

As part of the project, over $250,000 in RTEM-eligible funding has been requested to install a comprehensive network of advanced sensors throughout the building. These high-resolution data streams—including temperature, humidity, kW demand, CO₂, occupancy, airflows, water temperatures, and equipment runtimes—will be fed directly into GreenConnect’s proprietary AI analytics engine.

Using this real-time, high-fidelity data, GreenConnect’s AI agent will continuously identify occupancy patterns, detect simultaneous heating/cooling conflicts, and match HVAC runtimes to actual building loads. Instead of operating equipment in traditional “spinning reserve” mode (running systems just in case they’re needed), GreenConnect will automatically optimize setpoints, schedules, and system staging to meet demand with precision.

Projected Annual Savings:

  • Over $150,000 in electrical savings through reduced fan, pump, and compressor runtime

  • Approximately $85,000 in heating savings via optimized airflow distribution and improved ventilation control

  • Significant peak-demand reductions, improving the customer’s long-term load profile

“GreenConnect™ is redefining what building automation means,” said Leonardo Cutone, Founder of Cutone & Company Consultants and principal developer of the GreenConnect platform. “By combining granular sensor data with a dynamic AI optimization engine, we can reduce energy waste automatically, improve comfort, and help New York buildings move aggressively toward carbon-neutral operations.”

Con Edison’s RTEM program provides financial incentives for technology that continuously monitors and optimizes building performance. Under this award, GreenConnect™ will implement a full-stack solution including hardware integration, cloud analytics, machine-learning pattern recognition, and proactive energy-efficiency recommendations.

This project marks a major milestone for GreenConnect™, demonstrating the platform’s scalability and its ability to deliver measurable, verifiable savings in complex commercial environments.
